3rd Graders Visit "Kusama: Cosmic Nature" Exhibit at the NY Botanical Garden
Art teacher Sara Malekzadeh took third graders to the New York Botanical Garden last week to experience artist Yayoi Kusama’s spectacular floral sculpture installations.
“We had not been on any art-inspired field trips in almost two years,” Ms. Malekzadeh said. “Our NYBG educator was just as excited as we were to have students coming for visits – we were only the third school visit they’ve had in almost two years!”

Students were engaged, curious, and asked great questions. The opportunity to be outside on a beautiful fall day while interacting with and learning about art was wonderful.
