Teamwork Pays Off

January 23 – The boys varsity basketball team had an exciting 52-51 win versus Rye Country Day School last week, bringing their record to 6 wins, 2 losses.
“They’re coming together as a team now,” coach Gavin Robinson said. “To me, it was the best game so far they’ve played.”

The boys were down by 16 at one point, but they just kept chipping away at the lead. They went on a 16-2 run, and finally, with about four minutes left to play, took the lead.

“It takes a team to have an outcome this successful, a lesson I want them to take off the court,” Coach Robinson said.

“It was a lot of fun, I have to admit,” eighth grader Ryan Goldenberg said.

We have three home boys varsity basketball games this week…come see the team in action!
