May 2 & 9– Over the last week, we had the opportunity to welcome many incredible new students and families to Rippowam Cisqua School at our annual Who's Hoo pizza and ice cream parties.
Serving as a chance to meet their new teachers and host families, these events leave us all excited about the year to come. A highlight of the parties was the presentation of a customized owl silhouette that included the many descriptors that new parents provided about their children. Our newest RippKids are “helpful, joyful, empathetic, smart, caring, and innovative” to name just a few. We would also like to give a big thanks to our ninth grade hosts, Lili Azima, Hale Brown, Stefan Darmanovic, and Jasmine Pearson, who were perfect examples of the tremendous outcomes indicative of RCS. Cheers to an amazing 2019-20 school year where we will all have the chance to embrace these new families as part of our vibrant community.
