Sixth Grade Students Volunteer to Spruce Up Neighbors Link

Last week, Rippowam Cisqua sixth graders headed to Neighbors Link to learn more about that organization's mission and programs and to help by planting flowers in window boxes and around the grounds. In addition, our students learned about their neighbors who benefit from services offered by Neighbors Link and that non-profit organizations have limited resources. Our help in sprucing up the property allows Neighbors Link to spend their funds directly on their mission. RCS students enjoyed this service learning opportunity and were glad to get to know their neighbors in Mt. Kisco and the surrounding towns. Many thanks to all of the students who contributed to our efforts.
