Bye Bye Birdie

May 8 & 9 – Rippowam Cisqua School fifth through ninth graders presented Tony Award-winning musical Bye Bye Birdie this spring – singing and dancing with so much enthusiasm it was contagious!
Students at RCS are on the stage early and often; performances have been part of the Rippowam Cisqua School experience since the School’s earliest days. Participating in dramatic productions and musicals is an opportunity for creative expression, and for developing the confidence that comes with feeling comfortable in front of an audience.

And, as the students will tell you, performing at Ripp is a lot of fun!

I started to love theater last year when I was in the sixth grade musical Guys and Dolls, where I played Sarah Brown,” Elma Intinarelli 21 (Margie in Bye Bye Birdie) said.

And everyone in the audience loved this throwback to 1960s small-town America, teenagers, and rock & roll!
