While the Admissions Office is working remotely as a precaution against the spread of COVID-19, we will continue to assist families in finding the right school for their child through our virtual visit experiences. We are also here to answer your questions and connect you with the RCS community in educational and interactive ways.

We are now welcoming applications for students entering PreKindergarten through Grade 9.
We appreciate the time and attention our families give to finding the best educational environment for their children. Visits and interviews help families learn more about the program and provide a unique opportunity for us to get to know your family. The Admissions team is always available to offer guidance or answer any questions you may have along the way.

We encourage you to start the process early, so you have ample time to schedule school visits, assessment appointments, and interviews, and to consult with our expert team of Admissions professionals as you go through the application process.

List of 5 items.

  • Step 1: Virtual Visit Experience

Although our campus is closed, we still want to "show" you around our beautiful campus. We are offering the following virtual events several times each week. We encourage you to attend more than one session, as they each offer something unique to help you evaluate RCS for your child.

Virtual Information Session: Go on a virtual tour of RCS to learn about our innovative program. Learn more >>

    Virtual Parent Pop-In: Experience a day-in-the-life as a RippKid. Learn more >>

Private Virtual Tour: Chat with Admissions one-on-one about your child. Learn more >>

Virtual Parent Meetup: Ask a parent what it's like to have their child at RCS. Learn more >>

If you have any questions, please contact our Admissions Office at admissions@rcsny.org.

  • Step 2: Apply Online

Rippowam Cisqua accepts the Standard Application Online (SAO).

    Create an
account online to complete the admissions application. Please note, you will be taken to the Enrollment Management Association's website to fill out the SAO.

To apply for tuition assistance, complete your application using FAST

Priority applications are due by January 15. We accept applications after the priority deadline on a rolling basis. If you prefer a paper application, please email admissions@rcsny.org.

  • Step 3: Parent Interview

This is your opportunity to share all the wonderful things only you know about your child and to ask us questions.
The Parent Interview can be scheduled via videoconference or phone call at your convenience.

  • Step 4: Child Assessment (At Home)

While our campus is closed, we will be meeting applicants with their parents via videoconference. We will then send an age-appropriate assessment project to be completed at home.

  • Step 5: Entrance Exam (Grades 5-9)

We typically require applicants to Grades 5-9 to submit ISEE or SSAT entrance exam scores. Due to the limited standardized testing now offered, we will accept other standardized tests (such as state exams) which will be determined on a case by case basis.

If you have already taken the ISEE or SSAT tests, please use the following code to grant us access to your child's scores.

    ISEE code is: 336190
    SSAT code is: 6046
