4:00-8:00 p.m “Friday Night Lights” Family Carnival
Held on the Meyers Fields on Clinton Road across from the Upper Campus, all RCS families, alumni, and friends are invited for this FREE, fun-filled evening! There will be carnival booths, bouncy houses, a dunk tank, a DJ and dancers, a photo booth, multiple food trucks, ice cream, popcorn, face painting, henna artists,
and a beer tent*. Once the sun sets, we will gather under the stars at an old-fashioned bonfire created by our own staff and students.
*Beer tent wristbands will be available to those 21 and over for $30.
Saturday, October 14
9:00 a.m. Family Walk to Cisqua
We invite you and your family to join us in a favorite RCS tradition, the 3.2-mile walk from the Upper Campus, through the backroads of Bedford, to the Lower Campus. Refreshments will be offered along Guard Hill Road and a light breakfast will be served in the Pole Barn once we arrive at the Lower Campus. If the children still have the energy, they can jump around in the RCS bounce house and play on the “big toy”!
6:00-11:30 p.m. “The Party of the Century”
The weekend will culminate in the Centennial Celebration Gala, a 100th birthday party for RCS parents, alumni*, teachers, former teachers, and the community! The Gala will kick off with music and cocktails in the newly renovated Upper Campus amphitheater and transition to the dining tent for a delicious sit-down dinner, complete with champagne, specialty cocktails, and a birthday cake. Bring your dancing shoes because the twelve-piece band is sure to have everyone out on the floor!
*Alumni 21 years and older
