Teaching Internship Program

  • Teaching Internship Program

    The Teaching Internship Program at Rippowam Cisqua School provides “on the job” training for interns and apprentice teachers interested in elementary education. This is a unique mentoring program for recent or current MAT, M.Ed. program, and college graduates interested in elementary education. Classroom placements range from PreKindergarten to fourth grade. Each intern is assigned to a homeroom and works directly alongside a head teacher to provide instruction to students in language arts, mathematics, and social studies. Love of learning and children, as well as a sense of humor, are essential. If you are interested in applying for the Teaching Internship Program, please send resume and cover letter to the Lower Campus Division Head Penny Jennings at jennings@rcsny.org. For candidates interested in athletics, interns have opportunities to coach in the School’s interscholastic athletic program.
