Using real-world situations, students explore, experiment and test new ideas.
When students are excited to learn, their enthusiasm translates into a genuine love of learning. Our hands-on approach develops critical problem-solving skills and fosters a sense of inquiry and excitement about the curriculum. Our innovation-fueled program is designed to focus young minds while giving students the freedom to express themselves and take risks beyond the classroom.

A Model for Creativity and Innovation

We use the Torrance Incubation Model of Creative Teaching and Learning (TIM) as one foundational concept for our curricular focus on imagination and innovation in learning. Using the TIM Model, teachers take students through three critical stages of learning.

Using the model, students learn to:

Predict, imagine, and explore things that do not yet exist. By glimpsing the future, they are free to wonder and dream about the possibilities and view events as open-ended.

Be flexible in their thinking. Students understand there are many ways to the right answer and are therefore open to listening to and creating alternative ideas. Additionally, they gain the ability to see things from a different visual and psychological.

Experience out of the box thinking. Students' openness allows original ideas to flow and frees them from habits that may limit their potential.

Display empathy. Students can observe and respond appropriately to verbal and non-verbal cues so that they gain a better understanding of people and situations.
