Welcome from the Advancement Office
At Rippowam Cisqua School, we are extremely fortunate to enjoy a culture of philanthropy, providing us with the vital financial resources that every independent school needs to thrive and grow. Generations of parents, trustees, alumni, teachers, grandparents, and friends have contributed to our School with a generosity of spirit that humbles us.
Every year, the vast majority of our parents make donations to the Annual Fund, securing the financial cornerstone of the annual operating budget. Over $1.1 million dollars was raised for the 2014-15 Annual Fund, helping the School maintain its strong, innovative programs. Grandparents, parents of alumni, and alumni supported the Annual Fund at record levels and 100% of our faculty and staff made contributions to last year's Annual Fund. Their support serves as a powerful testament to the depth of connection the community feels for this wonderful school.
Every member of our Board of Trustees contributes generously of his or her time, expertise, and personal resources in support of our students and faculty. Though they often work behind the scenes, their leadership has fueled tremendous progress in many areas including curriculum, standardized test results, and secondary school placement.
The RCS Alumni Association Board serves as a vibrant, active group of volunteers who have worked diligently to keep our alumni connected to each other and to the School in meaningful ways. Alumni and their families are invited back to campus for many activities and events, including class reunions and our Homecoming celebration.
We are indebted to all of our volunteers who donate that most valuable resource of all - time. Our community is strengthened and enhanced every day, and in every way, by their immeasurable efforts, and we thank them for their invaluable support of the School.
This year marks the 98th year of teaching and learning at Rippowam Cisqua. We are grateful to those who came before us, helping to build the School's foundation, and we extend our gratitude to all those who continue to make RCS such a joyful, energetic, and supportive community.
