Message from The Head of School

Welcome. I hope you will take a few moments to browse our website and then visit Rippowam Cisqua School. Walking through our halls gives you the opportunity to see, firsthand, the pure joy in the faces of our students and their passion for learning, as well as our outstanding educators who are committed to giving every child the opportunity to flourish as a learner. You will see what makes Rippowam Cisqua a vibrant and truly unique community where children are inspired, nurtured, and prepared to be young citizens of the world.

For 95 years, Rippowam Cisqua has been a School community which creates opportunities for every child to experience the joy and excitement that is at the core of meaningful learning experiences. Each day, our mission to help students become confident learners who truly care about others, guides the Rippowam Cisqua faculty to offer a rich, challenging, educational program that encourages children to take intellectual risks and understand the importance of treating others with respect.

Extensive educational research strongly suggests that elementary and middle school experiences are critical to a child’s ongoing love of learning and academic success. As a PreKindergarten through Grade Nine School, Rippowam Cisqua focuses intensely on these formative years in a child’s life. The intimacy of our School community enables teachers and administrators to know individual students as learners and as people. We continually work to promote their intellectual growth, and partner with our parents to foster every child’s social and emotional development.

I hope you will enjoy visiting Rippowam Cisqua School whether virtually through our website, or in person.
